Hi all,

I recently purchased an electric blue 02 MCS which I adore. I don't think I need any service at the moment, but thought I would have a mechanic just once-over it...I'd like to go to someone who is mini experienced of course. Anyone have suggestions/feedback about anyone in or near santa barbara?

I also have getting new rims and tires on my mind...probably will just order through Tire Rack and have some tire guy in town put them on. Are all tire guys the same? (maybe i'm being too protective of my new mini).

i called there and scott seems friendly and intelligent.

as to flyinhawaiian's post (i'm hawaiian too by the way), i think i may need driving school before attempting anything called a "wild drive." for some reason i'm imagining a "mr toad's wild ride" a la disneyland, but way more fun i'm sure!
