Pepper White Checkmate?

PW/B would be my color scheme of choice and I'm wondering what this looks like with the Checkmate package, along with the blue interior.

Anybody have one? How about some pics? Search returned nothing.

Thanks!

I love PW/B, very classy, but I think it looks better without the Checks, as do all colors.

Again, just my opinion, but I think there are several other interior options that would look better with PW/B. Of course you're probably not all that worried about what I like.

Ha! Actually, I'm wondering because it seems that if you *have* to choose between the Sport and Checkmate packages (i.e., to get JCW) that Checkmate is a better deal, if you want wheels other than S-lites and cloth/leather seats.

And since it seems like nobody has a PW/B Checkmate JCW, perhaps it's a good choice strictly for the exclusivity.

I personally like the looks of the PW/B with checkmate package. We are currently waiting to hear on financing for one at our local dealer. If we go back soon (which is very very likely) we will take some snap shots for you.

About 2 hours ago I test drove a PW with the blue interior and I really liked it. I might get the checkmate package because I think I want that interior, but I would definitely take off the checkmate sticker on the door...I think it looks tacky. Does anybody know how hard it is to remove it?

You don't have to order it with the door decal if you don't want it. Even if you purchased it from the dealer with the decal, it's just vinyl and will come off easily.

You have to get the blue interior with the Checkmate, right? PW/B with the blue interior sounds like too much to me!!! I'd go PW/PW with the checkmate blue interior. I sat in a checkmate at my dealer, the dark blue color I think, and it was cool but the blue interior IS REAAAALLLLYYY BLUE! Not understated in anyway, you've really got to be into it.

There is a PW/B Checkmate at my local dealer FS. It looks nice.

Thanks for the pics! That looks great! That is a definite possibility for my future MCS.

bluzeke, it seems you and I have similar tastes in color combos, because if I don't do pepper white, I'm doing space blue/tartan red like your car.

I requested a PW with a silver roof and silver swoop bonnet stripe like the Checkmate and was told it's not an option but that I could have the roof painted and get the stripe installed at the dealer upon delivery. I wasn't too keen on repainting the roof, so I opted for PW/B color scheme instead with the Park Lane/English leather interior. I wish somebody would get an all PW and paint the roof silver and get the silver swoop so I could SEE it. I bet it'd be kickin'.

Pepper white with a silver roof doesn't sound very good to me.....of course it might be different to actually see it, but it seems like it would be pukey with the silver roof, white body, black trim, all fighting each other.

There was a PW/B MC Checkmate on the MINICCI After Tax Rally

Note that the MC Checkmate doesn't have the flame (horseshoe) rims that the MCS Checkmate does.

You're prolly right, but I'd still like to see it....no checkmate, just the roof and the swoop. The dealers need those computers where you can make visual imaging changes before you make a final decision on color. Like at a salon when you're changing hair styles......
