Webb Motorsports HDI Box

Webb Motorsports is proud to announce the release of our High Density Induction Box for the Cooper S!

This system is ready to purchase now, and the production units are shipping on the 17th of this month.

We are very proud of the system, which uses a completely sealed box from the engine compartment and takes advantage of the highest density charge possible.

It does this two ways. First, it increases airflow by using the longest and least restrictive possible filter element (made by UNI). We have been using this type filter with excellent results for over 3 years now. It offers outstanding flow without sacrificing dirt trapping ability - something our supercharged cars are even more sensitve to. Second, it provides true cold air by removing the existing firewall and replacing it with a new wall that allows the filter to be placed into the cowl area - more so than any other intake system on the market. It is also completely sealed from the high temperatures of the Cooper S engine bay.

This system uses high quality stainless steel hardware, and unlike many of the top selling intake systems which are mild steel, it is a full stainless steel box.

The unit will originally be offered as the induction box only, then will be offered with a replacement silicone hose as well. The hose will be offered at the same price regardless of whether purchased at the same time or individually. Expect the availability of the hose within the next three weeks. We have increased the size of the hose by 9mm over stock - the largest hose that will still fit without issues.

Here are the pics of the unit installed:

The HDI Box requires no cutting, drilling or other modification to fit. Total install time is about 15 minutes.

We have been very happy with the dyno runs to date - stay tuned for more info on the power gains. We have so far been industry leading, and plan to remain that way ! We want to publish the final runs using the longer element (which we are awaiting the arrival of).

This is a preview sale of this item - it does not appear in our catalog yet. NAM users have the chance to purchase first! To buy, simply call our office at 303-683-4424. We plan to have the unit on sale to the general public within the next week. The cost for the HDI Box is $210 without the hose. Pricing with the hose will be determined shortly.

Thank you all for your continued support! I look forward to continuing to supply our community with unique and high quality products.

Randy
