My last locked thread did not go as intended. I was not hoping the thread topic would steer towards illegal speeding and retarted driving tactics. Nor did expect some people to react as shocked as they did. It was mostly a quick after thought on my road trip from San Jose to Disney Land.

For the most part - my lowered mini took a beating on the pot holes out there. And the smog sucked.

And I did not see any other Mini's on the road either.

i am one of the lurkers on NAM but hearing you say you saw no MINIs in SoCal just seems not possible.

where were you?

in my area (san fernando valley) i see maybe close to 10 different MINIs everyday.

 

That is so odd, ugly_duckling! Maximusmini visited me in West Los Angeles last week and we saw, conservatively, at least 10+ MINIs a day. We joked that he needed one of those clicker-counters that are used at certain venues to count heads. LOL!

Last time I was in the San Jose area, the air quality wasn't so hot there, either. The OC can be very smoggy...especially near Disneyland.

 

the only thing i in san jose was the "Pink Poodle" and no minis!

 

No MINI sightings in SoCal?

Were you driving at night time? Were you driving on side streets? It's really hard to believe you didn't see one MINI between LA and Anaheim. Come back down again, and I will show you where MINIs can be found.

 

LOL - I was in the San Fernando Valley just off of Roscoe Ave from the 405. That day I drove around Burbank down to the city of Orange. The next day I cruised the 5 to DisneyLand. And no Mini in sight. Also the weekend traffic felt like my weekly commute.

Anyway....My air quality comment was also compounded by the big forrest fire. On monday the mini was covered in ashes like it was an ashtray.

Either way I have friends and family in the SoCal area so its always .
