AutoFair At Lowe's MS Saturday 4/8
It's Official again were going back to the AutoFair.

We still have room for 1 more MINIs

M2C2 has been invited again to participate in the AutoFair car show at Lowe's Motor Speedway on Saturday April, 8th from 8:00am until 6:00pm.

We have been given space for 20 MINIs to be displayed. The AutoFair will be awarding 5 trophies to the MINIs in our club.

As a member of the Speedway Club at Lowe's Motor Speedway I am able to arrange for us to also stay after the car show and have dinner in the Speedway Club. If you would be interested in staying for dinner please let me know. Here is a link to the Speedway Club.

Meeting Place for the AutoFair

Here it is. We will need to start meeting around 6:30am and leave at 7:00am for the short 2 miles to the Speedway. I will have your passes at the meeting point. It is extremely important that we meet prior to going to the Speedway to issue passes. Our meeting point is:

Regal Starlight Cinema located at the intersection of Hwy 29 and I485 exit 32 towards Concord. Most of the other car clubs are meeting some where on Speedway Blvd and must go through the light at Speedway Blvd and Route 29, which I want us to avoid.


If you are coming from I85, take the exit to I485 and exit 32 is the first exit you will come to. The Regal Starlight Cinema is easy to see and has a very large parking lot. We have less of a chance of getting separated getting to the Speedway from that location.


I am sorry that the meeting time is so early and there are so many rules we must follow. This event is very large with over 100,000 people attending so all the rules and timing is very important.

With everything going on in my life right now I don't know if I'll be able to make this or not right now. I'm going to have to wait until we're closer to the date to be able to call it.

For those of you on the fence deciding, I highly recommend signing up. You won't regret going. This is one heck of a big show with hundreds of cars and other stuff to see.

 

Hey all, I would really like to the show again... but the wife has an event for work on that day, so we'll need to figure out something with the kids.
I'm pretty sure we'll be able to work it out, but just in case put me on the reserve list. Hopefully there will still be an opening when I know for sure.

I'll throw out my offer of assistance if you need a backup person to attend the initial kickoff meeting 4 weeks before the event. I'm familiar with the meetings and where to go in the speedway. Just in case you can't attend yourself.

I saw in the March News that the Car Clinic is scheduled for the same day as the Lowe's Event. Not sure how I can be 2 places at once. I definately want to do the Clinic, so let me know more details as they errupt.
Also I will have a guest with me at the Speedway Dinner as well.

It's for sure, I won't be able to make the Spring Auto Fair.

Not only did we already have a timing conflict, but T-ball opening day game is on the 8th... and since I'm the coach, the team kinda of expects me to be there...

I'm already looking forward to the fall show.

Perhaps I'll stop by in the afternoon to check out the new MINIs, and see old friends!!
