I'm installing Recaros in my '04 MCS this afternoon -- I have a couple of questions regarding the wiring harnesses...


1) It appears the yellow harness is for the airbag -- I have the requisite NTE resistor (3.3 OHM) -- other than this, do the other 2 harnesses simply need to be taped up?

2) What hardware are others using to mount the custom bracket to the floor of the car?

 

With my Saprco's I re-used the hardware with Sparco sliders. PM me if your resistor works. There has been many threads with peopl throwing out different Ohms values. My other connectors are chilin' under the seat.

 

The resistor is working like a charm. Installation of bracketry into the car was a major PITA; however, the improvement in seating is unbelievable.
