Somehow i doubt they used an actual Mini for the desk.

Very cool!

But do the wheels turn? And spin?
This is old hat. '57 Chevys, '59 Caddies, etc. have been done. You can warm up the hot dog with the rally lights!

Classic MINI is now a MINI Desk!

Check out what became of this Classic MINI.

Why not restore it? Why make it a desk?

FWIW...

Mini is not all caps when talking about Minis produced from 1959 to 2001. From when BMW took over, then it became MINI, so as to not be confused with the previous generations.

Not a new concept...there was a British home decor TV program, Grand Designs on channel 4 several years ago that showcased a nice Mini table...

And recently on ebay...

...with summer coming, I could use a new BBQ grill.

The Mini for your home office

Not sure if this has made it onto NAM yet. It came in my weekly Google News "Mini Cooper" email: The Mini Statements Mini Desk, all yours for $4,422.

I've seen it around. Not to long ago if I remember correctly. But still a good find! I'd rather put that money to my actual Mini instead of a desk.

You would think for 4 grand you'd at least get wheels that didn't look like they were dragged out of a junkyard. Kind of an interesting idea though

That would be an after-market mod., along with some changes in the suspension, and maybe a Sparco seat?

Yeah, I think I would add some Minilites. And a light bar, of course! Nice that they include the bonnet stripes.

Only for the MOST LOYAL (and wealthy) MINI Enthusiasts

This is one of the coolest MINI things I've seen...wait, it IS the coolest.

It's a shame I don't have an extra $5,000 laying around to blow on something! How cool would it be to have this in your office!

Trust me, it's WAY worth the click!

Ha! How about that! Sorry...I actually did a search on 'MINI desk' and for some reason didn't see the post...but I saw lots of others come up that didn't have anything to do with it!

I havent seen that before! I would KILL for that desk. I wonder how much it weighs...

Does anyone on NAM have one?

I bet I could make one for a fraction of the price!

This is on my list of things I am going to get when we remodel my office at the end of the year. I am also going to get a Recaro office chair.

I used to have a 57 Chevy Loveseat in my game room - it was like this Corvette version:
