icelink plus and aux??

is it possible to have both the icelink+ and aux working on the same headunit??

should the aux input jack be plugged into the stock harness or onto the
add-on icelink+ harness??

i just installed the HU version of the icelink+ into my 2005 mcs and didn't
check the aux input before buttoning it all back up.

of course, the radio doesn't detect the aux input now. the icelink+ seems
to be working great. i'm looking for guidance before i pull the dash
apart again outside in the cold

(i'm interested in using the aux input for my mp3/nav device)

cheers,

Lcubed

The iceLink appears to the headunit at a CD Changer and the AUX as an AUX. They can coexist nicely. I have both in my '05 MCSa.

I have both and they work fine. However I have the version of the ICELink that connects to the CD changer plug in the boot...

My full setup is...
MINI HK
OEM Sirius
Aux
Dension ICELink+
Sony Ericsson HCB-300 Bluetooth kit (now inop due to suspected controller failure)

All of these pieces played well together... well until the HCB-300 gave up the ghost but I don't think it's related to all of the stuff connected to the HU....

Ate you using the BMW pass through cable to connect both the iceLink and Sirius?

i dug into the dash again and gave the wiring a better look-over.
it appears the icelink + intermediate harness doesn't have the
passthru wiring for the aux input.

simply moved the aux input from the back of the original mini connector
to the back of the icelink + connector which is hooked up to the back
of the radio.

both the aux input and icelink+ work great now.
