NY/NJ Motorers, need your help...

Hi, i posted in another NAM forum re: my mod'd MINI at Prestige MINI ( https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...446#post771446 ).

I need it brought somewhere else, they were actually really mean to me in regards to my mods, as if I had commited some mortal sin I was polite all the way through, i'm def not a confrontational person.

Does anyone in the NY/NJ have any suggestion/great experience with other MINI service in the area? Manhatten, Princeton, Morristown, etc?

Any input would be a huge help and very appreciated.

Ps- happy new year everyone!!! Bri

I ordered a full-blown JCW S Cabrio from Princeton MINI in November and expect it to wash ashore in early Feb so I can't say that I have much experience with their service desk. I met the head of service and spent some time with him before the purchase and his only comment on mods was just to be careful since certain things may lead to them being unable to honor the warranty. That being said, he seemed like a reasonable chap so it may be worth a try to have a talk with them. The dealership is on Rt. 1 (north lane side) south of the Princeton turnoff but before you get to Lawrenceville.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Bill

The morristown service guys seem good, but since I have a Cooper without any performance mods I can't say how they'd react to the extent of mods you've got.

Some nice motoring west of Morristown, at least...

good luck!

I bought my mcs 6 weeks ago from Morristown and they are nice but I've had no repare issue so i can say how their service is. A buddy of mine recommended Morristown Mini to me and said that the people at Prestige were "jerks". I have no experience with them but my friend felt stongly enough about it to point me away from them.

I came across this place a little while ago and bookmarked the website for service when I'm out of warantee. I got a great recommendation for them for either performance stuff or just regular service - they seem (from the site) to be MINI enthusiasts. Of course that doesn't make them great mechanics, but it seems like they'll most definitely work on your car.
