I'll be there. Just keep a lookout for a shave-headed Chicano with a camera. (If you see some gangbanger-looking old guy, relax, the only thing I'll shoot is my Nikon. )
My adult "kids" will be there on Saturday (the 7th).

Not sure when I'm going...prefer to avoid the weekend crowds! Hoping that Maximusmini will visit me so we can attend together.

 

I'm looking to drive down from NorCal Friday, then Sat AM go for a canyon drive through Malibu before ending at the convention center (from Torrance, to PCH, canyons, stop for lunch, then Auto Show = ~110 miles).

 

It will be good to see you Clo' the last time we meet was at starbucks in MI. It will be good to see you again and a bonus, if Zak can join you from MI.

I have been there the last two days!! I'm over it! Yeah, check it out..I don't know the specifics..I walked by it and made a note of it. Too many things all around.

 

I remember seeing that one at Hot Import Daze in San Diego a couple of years ago. The paint job reminds me of HR Giger.

Definitely. And definitely not on opening day, Saturday, or Sunday. I was thinking about ditching out of work early one day during the week (not sure which day) and trying to catch it starting in the early afternoon in an attempt to minimize the number of people walking in front of my camera.

If that timing sounds like it might work for you with school and such, let me know. Maybe we could hit the show together and wave people out of the frame while the other shoots.

Just goes to show that $500,000 doesn't buy taste.
