The dreaded Pedal Click... How do I get rid of it?

I don't know if some of you noticed but whenever you floor your accelerator pedal there is a "click" when the back of the pedal hits the mount. It's kind of annoying and hasn't really bugged me all that much until this week. Has anyone put something on the back of the pedal or on it's mount to reduce if not get rid of this click? I was going to glue a cutout of black carpet onto the mount but I didn't want to compromise performance in any way.

Thanks

Mikey

I get a click when the clutch is fully depreesed, sounds like a plastic on plastic contact.

That's your clutch switch turning on and off. As for the accelerator pedal...don't step on it too hard? lol I guess you can try putting felt pads on it, but you risk not opening the throttle all the way
