I'll be coming back to Denver between Christmas and New Years and bringing my camera gear.

Hopefully the weather cooperates to allow for some MINI shots to get in. If anyone's interested in getting some shots done, see MotoringPhotography.com for some examples of my recent work.

I also need to make it by Randy's shop at some point. I'm working on an idea for that though and will post it if it gels.

ps - not to rub it in or anything, but this was taken earlier this week.

 

Dave, after last night's prep session for Laguna Seca, we now have three cars with large Webb Motorsports logos on the side -- Randy's red race-prepped mule with a white logo, Brian's dark silver MCS with green logos, and my space blue MCS with a silver/grey logos. If possible we should coordinate a photo shoot (somewhere up near Red Rocks amphitheater perhaps?) with all of these vehicles to help promote WMS.

I'll look forward to meeting you -- sick new shot of you SR/S Mini BTW!

 

Nice pic, even though we know you are rubbing it in. Don't worry about us though, we survived the 0 degree temps this week. Let's not talk about wind chill. Hopefully you will have nice weather for the photo shoots. At least there is always good chance for a sunny day here. How long are you in town?

BTW, any interest from MINI5280 members out there in a nice MINI5280 Year End group shot? It can be done, pls indicate your interest here. Suitable for framing....and something unique for your stocking...

Dave: I'm interested in a group shot and any other MINI, photography or other activities around the holidays. I'll be gone for Christmas, but I expect to back a couple of days later.

Let me know if I can help or provide anything, like a step ladder, and extra (but cheap) tripod, an extra SB-800, etc. I'd like to learn a few things about photography by watching you in action!

I'll try to get this squared away on Monday. Now that Randy is back from Laguna Seca.

 

My plan is to show up at Webb on Wednesday the 28th at 4 PM to hang out for a bit and catch the sunset (last of the good light for photography) in the area.

I showed up at about 5pm (didn't get off work til 4:40 or so) drove to Randy's and there was no one there, the shop looked closed up and no MINIs anywhere

I didn't check my watch when we left, but it's close as to whether we were still there. Kelly had his black Miata and I was driving a white Outback. Jonathan came buy for a bit with his PS/B MCS. We just may have barely missed you.
