R50/53 Texas Personalized Plate up for grabs
Texas Personalized Plate up for grabs
Howdy
For all you Texas-based NAM'ers who have been pondering a personalized license plate.
If anyone is interested, I have what "I" think is a pretty cool Personalized Plate that I will be not be using and thus relinquishing the rights to. I thought I'd just toss out a post to announce it's available.
It is not an original idea but none the less (IMO) would look great on any Mini Cooper The plate I have is: "CQQPER". Next best thing to the real thing "COOPER" but someone has had that for years. You could get yourself a Mooneyes sticker for your back window to complete the theme. See link http://www.mooneyes.co.jp/english/sh...cals/DM031.jpg
Anyone remember Mooneyes Hot-Rodding parts from back in the day? Email me if interested. hawgnut@houston.rr.com

I was dead set on having "ELEANOR" for my 1966 Cadillac when I got her (homage to Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds, 'cause it was a car I'd wanted for a long time, and it never ended up working out - but that's another story for another time). I went on the VA DMV website while I was down at Virginia Tech, and checked for that availability, and it wasn't there! I was frustrated. But then I decided on "My ELNOR" and most people who saw my plate got the meaning.
Anyhoo, the DAY I looked for that availability I was driving around Blacksburg, and what do I see on a beat-up old Chevy Blazer puttering down the road? A license plate that read "ELEANOR."
