Hey all,

Just wondering if I could see some pics of CR/CR Cooper S's with black stripes on the bonnet. I just wanna see how stripes will look when the roof is the same color as the car so your car does not neccesarily have to be CR, but it would be nice. After I color code my arches, Ill be lookin to do a stripe design like Tuls where the bonnet stripes continue down to the bottom front bumper. I think they look really good. Any pics or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

I would say the nice thing about having a matching roof, as in CR/CR, is then you can have roof and boot stripes too, to tie the bonnet stripes in better.

Either way, TwoMINIs pic is great, so even just the bonnet stripes would be a nice look.

If you recall, the original Italian Job cars all had matching roofs with black stripes. I was in the same boat (CR/CR) and just had bonnet/boot stripes added yesterday. They are white with silver outlines, except the silver is not touching the white, so there is a little red paint showing between the white and silver on each stripe. I love it! I added some white mirrors to tie it all in and think its an interesting twist on the classic CR/W w/stripes. I ordered my aero grille yesterday, which will complete my exterior cosmetic changes. How exciting!!!

 

Not yett!! lol Im waiting for my arches to be color coded hopefully by next week and then im gonna throw the bonnet stripes on goin from the end of the bonnet by the windshield all the way down to the bottom of the front bumper! Tuls had this done on his mini and I just love that look! Hopefully Ill also have some new 17" gloss black wheels with a polished lip to tie it all together!
