Driving light mount

Has anyone installed the driving light mounts available from Outmotoring? They allow 2 or 4 light mount options, and they install at front bumper in front of lower grill. I was curious as to how difficult they would be to install, (if grill needs removal ect.). I really like this location.

I have. I had a shop do it but watched most of it. The wiring parts is standard stuff.

As to installation. The following were issues that needed to be resolved
  1. The dealer did NOT drill the license plate brackets dead center. So, the had to be redrilled in the bumper
  2. The holes in the bumper are NOT perfectly aligned. They ended up actually moving the bumper a bit to align (there is slop in there to move)
  3. Nothings perfect but I'm happy
  4. Make sure you use the loctite that comes with the kit. This stops the mounting brackets from working lose (which they will)
  5. Yes, you must remove the lower grille along with the whole lower bumper ... watch out for the temp sensor which they relocated because of where I chose to put the lights.
  6. Yes, you must drill holes throught the grille. Grilles are fairly cheap though ... maybe $40?
I'm happy. Good LUCK!

I didnt use the outmotoring mount I used the ALTA and the Mini Madness ones but they were both straight forward.... Hardest part the the wiring so that it looks good and is the way you want it.
