Factory Stripe removed - residue
Factory Stripe removed - residue
Anyone suggest a good way to remove the glue residue from the backside of the factory rally stripes after they have been removed? Is claybar the trick or something else thats more effective.

I used a piece of the removed stripe that still had adhesive on it to blot at the leftover stickum. I've used masking tape on other leftover stickum in the past.
I've heard of using WD-40 also. I doubt that clay would work as it would probably get caught in the adhesive.

Got this from Sal Zaino @ Zaino Brothers;
"3M Woodgrain and Vinyl stripe adhesive remover" figures they would have something specific. Comes in an aerosol can 24oz. in Arizona $21.00
Worked like a charm. Kind of messy but very good.
