Aftermarket Bluetooth & IceLink+ in same HK install?
Newbie here, planning ahead for my MCS order.
I've been searching and reading like crazy and found all sorts of threads on Bluetooth and IceLink+ separately, but little about folks who have done both -- thanks to this forum, I'll not be ordering the factory options for these two.
What I'm confused about is installation and interoperation -- beyond getting the magic wiring harnesses from Mike. The further questions I have so far are:
I plan on the parcel shelf (unless folks talk me out of it for installation ease) so I lose that space for the BT box.
I've already sent an email to Mike, but I wanted to know more about folks installations as well.
As for locations of the hardware, I expect the easiest/best place for my Treo is the Cell Cup. I'm still torn on iPod location. I like the Panavise plate for mounting, but then I saw that picture of the iPod under the eBrake and it suddenly made much more sense.
thx,

- Is there a consensus BT car kit? I've seen good and bad gripes listed for the Parrott 3000 and the Nokia CK-7W. I care most about audio quality (to the extent one can w/ BT car kits)
- Where to install the BT box that both fits and has good reception? I saw one thread that talked about how easy the Nokia was to install, but CustomAV never followed up w/ instrucitons.
- How do these two installs work "together" behind the head unit?
