JCW Map on a non-works MCS???

I have the K&N Typhoon and Borla Agressive... I've heard that installing the JCW software will get me some additional grunt. IS this a good idea? What's the downfall?

You should probably get a pulley before doing this so you can approximate the JCW mods.

i have the JCW ECU on my non-Works MCS, but am going to be getting rid of it soon. The JCW map actually detunes the car a bit compared to other aftermarket mappings. i only have it because the dealer gave it to me free when i installed my pulley and exhaust. I am running extremely rich with this map and generate quite a bit of carbon from my engine- indicating incomplete combustion.

and btw...welcome to NAM!
