Aftermarket Stereo That Blends In Best

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good aftermarket stereo that blends in with the Mini interior?

I'm tired of my MP3s not displaying tag information. I've looked around a little but I'm not an audiophile and haven't been everywhere.

If only Mini would have made their stereo's display MP3 tag info, bah.

IMO, the very best blending aftmkt stereo is the Nakamici. The INTERIOR AND ICE sub-forum on www.mini2.com has a huge sticky thread with pics showing tons of the most popular aftmkt head units. There are a few Nakamici 400s shown, but they don't play MP3s. I think the Nakamici 500 does. Check out the thread, though, and when you see something you might like, hit on Google and EBay for tech specs, $$$ and availability.

I would also recommend looking into Blaupunkt head units. www.crutchfield.com has lots of them to look at.

Good luck in your search. Let us know what you find to be the best match to your MINI.
