I want to replace my OEM Antenna with a "chrome" looking billet antenna on my '05 MCS. Any suggestions/pics would be appreciated. Radio reception not a primary issue. I rarely play tunes--I prefer the sound of the CAI/Magna Flow. No nav. Being mechanically challenged, does the antenna "unscrew" for EZ replacement? Are there any that replace the base as well? Complicated job? Remember mechanically challenged. Thanks for the info. Nick

 

very simple.. the oem antenna just unscrews off, put the new one on, and you are good

though one warning.. any unflexible antenna could break the thread if you go through automatic car washes.. i had my mini mania antenna fall off last winter
