FS: Red SPW racing seat
FS: Red SPW racing seat
the SPW has been used for 2 months... the passenger side is in mint shape, foam, and the seat covers are still brand new almost... the welds on the back of the seat are in perfect and mint shape, unlike the other one.... ill throw in a mini specific seat bracket (i gotta keep the other one)
the driver seat's back frame to the base frame is broken completely... basically, the seat base has an extension that goes to the seat back.. 6 welds (3 on each side) are broken... so the seat back right now is held in the seat only by the seat cover's tension and zip ties
its a great DIY project over the winter... if you are using it for street, 6 stainless bolts with lock lugs will hold you in no problem.. i'd suggest doing both sides as well, just take out the seat cover, drill the holes, tap them, and put in the new bolt... and you are good to go.. even if you take this to a shop.. i doubt they'd charge you anything more than 100 bucks to put in 12 bolts on 2 seats...
or you can reinforce the entire thing by taking out the foam, and weld the entire thing together... that may cost a bit more though
anyways... asking 450US for the pair.. i paid 850 US before canadian tax for them.. however, give me an offer and we'll go from there
im giving away a 85 dollar seat frame to the buyer as well
Please keep in mind i cannot offer FREE SHIPPING on this item due to it's size... buyer will pay shipping, but i am flexible on that... i wont pay 100% shipping though
pm me if there's any interest, please know i can send the interested parties any pictures of the needed repairs

as for the seats.. the manufacturer just basically said 'we wont do jack' for me.... as much as i just want to go down there to have a little friendly chat... i dont have the time...
they are still for sale! great winter project... you are getting one HELL of a seat! ive used them in one autox, and they hold me in with just normal seatbelts
Sorry to hear that the manufacturer will not back up there own product. I guess that shows that no one should buy there products! I wish you the best of luck on the sale and again sorry to hear about your experiences.
