Vent Visor on Mini..?

I've been looking for the vent visor or window visor for my Mini because when it rains I gets kind of stuffy and foggy without turning on the air. I don't want to keep having to turn the air on everytime it rains. I searched google, yahoo, ask Jeeves, here on NAM, mini2, and i can't find anything except for one, but it looks ugly. There are much nicer and integrated ones that have subtle curves. When I was in Australia almost everyone had one on there back roads kinda car and they weren't noticable. Here's the picture of the ugly and only one that I found:

Does anyone know of any other options that i can get?

TIA,
MCuS

I don;t know of a window visor that will solve your problems, but I have a solution to it. When A/C or heater is not needed, and in your case, just like mine, I run the defrost at a comfortable temp. I also crack the windows ever so slightly. This prevents any condensation inside my MCS. I also place air fresheners on the side vents in the dash, this way I get a nice smelling car too!

I have had one incident when the windows fogged up! But this was when I drove off the dealer lot after pruchase. Since then, I have been running my defrost to prevent any further condensation problems.

Hope this helps...

I see what you mean.

I do turn on the front defrosters... but I wanted something so that i don't have to. It just hit me last night that i we can't have vent visors because of our windows opening without a frame to hold the visors up. I also found that all car like ours are not availible either. I will have to do what you do and live with it.

Thanks for the tip.

Are you pulling air from the outside? If you are running the recirculation button on the windows will fog up very fast.

Changing the cabin filter helps also. (If you are 6 months to a year out of the free maint. program).
