Door trim Chrome screw hole covers?

Hi All,

I remember reading a while ago about these little chrome bit you pop into the screw hole openings in the door trim piece, but for the life of me I can't find the information again. You know what I'm talking about - those deep screw access holes in the door trim pieces... I want to cover those holes with little chrome screw hole covers.

Anyway, a link to the source of the parts will be greatly appreciated!

If you don't have a chrome fetish, you can also use black nylon plugs such as these.

I've looked for these at both Home Depot and Sears to no avail. So for me, it's the e-bay route or do without.

Try an Ace hardware - they usually have an extensive collection of odd screws and fasteners. It's where I got the plastic plugs, and they also had plated metal ones.

Thanks for the links, guys!

While $16 for a full set (2 doors) seems like a lot for what is probably $2 worth of parts, it's easier than hunting around hardware stores for the right size and those holes in the door really are annoying

Sears hardware has it (not the sears retail stores). But I only found black ones, but they match the anthracite interior well
