Fs 79 Bmw 728
FS or trade 79 Bmw 728
My father in law has one that's been sitting unused for 2 years. New battery. Runs & drives. Clear title. 6 cyl. auto. Manual moon roof, 4 door. Body is straight but has a fair amount of popcorn in the quarters. Paint is faded. I think the glass is good but a couple of the window tracks need help. Upholstery is poor, but door cards, console, carpet good. Brakes were serviced shortly before parked. Tires have low miles but are flatspotted. Has factory aluminum 14" wheels. Odometer broke @ 107 k miles. He put about another 10 k on it after that. Car is in Columbia, TN. I used to drive it sometimes, & it was a fun car. Needs a bath & a new home.
Asking $150 or will trade for Silver holies w/ decent tyres. PM me for further info. Thanks!

Note: it's squatting in the rear due to the trunk being full of stuff. Thanks for your interest!

Sad is such an ugly word. It would really like to be washed & cleaned up. The interior, aside from the upholstery & small cracks atop the dash, seems in good condition. The body needs a couple rust repairs but is otherwise straight. It ran great until parked. I believe It'll start & run fine with a battery & maybe a little gumout. I haven't done anything to it but photograph it thus far. It would make a good donor or recipient, for that matter. A small block chevy & a couple quarter panels would make a hellacious sleeper!

It hasn't been started as far as I know...

It runs great!
Put a new battery in the car & it fired right up. I took it for a spin. It runs well & shifts smoothly. The tyres are flatspotted & need to be replaced. Needs a bath & a new home.
Interested parties, PM me for telephone & address. Thanks for the many replies!

Last call..
As the car is up & running, Dad decided to advertise it in the local paper for $500. The ad (also appearing in cars.com) comes out 10-29. Car can still be purchased at my originally posted price but must be paid for & picked up before 10-29. Thanks again for all your interest!
Well it works on BF.C so I call dibs.
Pm responded too. Very excited to add an instant classic.
