Does anyone want to get together Friday night for dinner? We can go to one of the restaurants around the Wingate or someplace else.

 

In the immediate area there's Logan's Roadhouse, Maccaroni Grill (although they get busy on Friday, and probably will not be able to accomodate us), Joe's Crab Shack (Which can accomodate a large crowd, and might give us a discount), Stax's, California Dreamin', Chophouse (expensive), and a Tony Roma's.. There might be a couple of more places in the immediate area.. When a decision is made, maybe the Greenville VP can send out a local chapter e-mail...

I don't know of a car wash in the area, but maybe the Wingate would let you use a hose like they did 2 years ago..

 

Bob, put me down for dinner. Gotta eat anyway. I'm planning on arriving between 2:30 and 3 so see you on Friday. By the way, isn't the Wingate Inn at exit 54? I'm also bringing a hose just in case they will allow us to wash our cars there.

I'm open for almost anything except seafood, though if the place serves other things I'd probably be fine with it. I don't tihnk we'll have a large crowd coming out with us (8 or 10 people, maybe).

I found a coin wash at, I think, exit 63 last year. I believe it's Duncan's Main St. It's not far into town after you get off the interstate, just past the high school, on the left.

 

After much discussion with Bob, we'll be eating at Joe's Crab Shack, which is 2 doors up from the Wingate... 6:30 is the meeting time, they'll have tables set up on the covered deck. Joe's is on Restaurant Row at exit 54, Pelham Rd & I-85. There are a few landlubber items on the menu for those like Bob and I who don't have the stomach for seafood...

 

Barb and I will be there. Since we can't make the Euro (work again) we might as well come down for the food!

Bob, can you handle that rim (and tire) this weekend? If so I'll bring it down on Friday.
