Charlotte International Auto Show OPPORTUNITYfor M2C2 MEMBERS!!!

Ed Keady, our great friend and sponsor from Hendrick MINI, has asked for M2C2 help! I think we can do this as it will be easy and FUN!

Ed would like people each day of the Auto Show to share the MINI Owner Experience with people attending the show

See? EASY! Talk about MINIs with strangers! You already do it! See? FUN!! There will be bunches of brochures and a sign in book for visitors to the booth. Ed says he'll have a salesman there most days as well.

You also know that Ed will be taking care of the volunteers! He's providing a Pass for ALL days to the Auto Show. You can come back and see rest of the cars (But why? We HAVE the best cars!) And also a GOODY BAG! (just like the Oscars!) It will include accessories, fun stuff, and some type of service bonus for your MINI! The service bonus is a coupon for your choice of either an oil change or a tire rotation!

When?? November 17-20 (that's Thursday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday)
Who?? Thurs - 2 people Fri- 2 people Sat- 4 people Sun- 3 people

I am definitely interested in helping out for Saturday. Are we required to do the whole day or do we do this in shifts? When is the auto show open for guests?

Sarah, put me down for the noon shift on Thursday, and I'll also come out on either Saturday or Sunday (most likely the Sunday, and I'll let you know tomorrow which it will be). But the Thursday is definite.

You can sign Jim and I up for Saturday 10 am to 3 pm and that will round out the 4 for that shift.

 

The Saturday from 10-3 shift needs only two people and it is filled. Sorry guys.

A note about the goody bags!

People have been wondering what the 'service' item in the goody bag will be. I talked with Ed at the dealership and it will be a coupon for your choice of either an oil change or a tire rotation. WOW! That's about a $75 value!!

There's going to be other cool stuff in the bag as well --- surprises from Ed.


Also! Still space available for someone on Saturday 3-8pm shift!

When all shifts are filled, I'll send an email to the volunteers with details.

I cannot do the Friday the 18th but can do Thursday the 17th. I am on off-ice official for our ECHL team in Columbia. They have a home game on Thursday night. If you do not get anyone else for Sat 3-8. Let me know. I'll make the trip back up for that as well
