Questions about Webb Motorsports Performance Packages

Randy (and Team) - a few questions about the Performance Package No.3 that you sell:

1. The package comes with a larger throttle body, yet there seems to be an unresolved problem with stumble around 3000 to 4000 rpm when larger TBs are fitted. Any idea when a real fix will be available?

2. The package has a number of improvements to the breathing capacity of the MCS: CAI, intercooler, larger TB, improved cylinder head/camshaft, improved header & catback exhaust. Yet no larger (higher capacity) fuel injectors. Why not the larger fuel injectors?

3. The UNIChip seems like the best approach to the ignition sequence, especially its programmability. What happens when there is a new release of code from MINI?

1-I have essentially his Stage 3 and then some. What stumble with TB are you referring to? Doesn't exist for me.
2-Doesn't need it unless you're running Nitrous as I do.
3-New code does not affect Unichip. Unichip is removable.

I was referring to the following NAM thread:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=51258
while the thread does not exactly mention Webb Motorsports' larger TBs as having a problem with stumble, there is an unanswered question regarding the whole stumble issue. Hence, my question for clarification.

My question is related to the JCW kit having larger injectors. Based on what appears to be a better breathing set-up with the Webb Motorsports Package 3, it would seem that larger injectors would be needed. I guess I would like to hear Randy's take on the injector size issue.

I guess I am still attempting to understand how the Unichip works: Does it replace the injection, ignition, etc. timing maps of the factory DME? Or???? And, how is the design of the Unichip such that it is not affected by factory upgrades???? If the Unichip is looking for one set of engine parameters, and it receives a different set (from the factory upgrade), what safeguard is in place to avoid overboosting, running lean, or any other condition that would lead to engine failure?

The flat spot is a real issue with many larger TBs (all ~3 cars that I've ridden in...). The 'flat spot' is only noticeable at part throttle. Full throttle and the ECU goes in 'open loop' mode [I believe it's called], and the flat spot is invisible. I think it has to do with the mass air meter seeing 'too much' air for the degree of tb open and then doing funny things. Again, it's only at part throttle. I will remind you, however, that part throttle is where [at least I] usually am when I drive around town.

Part throttle is where I spend >90% of my time in my MCSa, regardless of whether it is around town or on the highway. Therefore, my question about the larger TB and stumble.
