Drivetrain those with custom exhaust...what muffler(s)?

those with custom exhaust...what muffler(s)?

Those of you that have custom exhaust, what mufflers and tips did you go with, i found a few old threads that were informative, but i was hoping for something more up to date.

cmon...no one has any ideas for a muffler that would fit under there with custom plumbing?

would something like magnaflow muffler this with 2.5 piping be excessively loud?



its 2.5'' in and out 20 inches long and 4 wide. if I mounted that in the long center section under the e-brake and back seat area and just worked piping around and to the back to a tip? Would that work? Is there clearance for that?

Definatley doable, Maximus has a Borla resonator about that long in the same exact locaton as you described, so i say go for it!

thanks, I think thats what Im going to try. now I just need to find a tip that is similar to the Miltek or Alta...or Borla..anything. Anyone have any recommendations on that? I want something that doesnt have a logo etched into it preferably.

magnaflow has tips that you can used.I tried a custom exhaust too with a magnaflow 4x9 muffler like the dinan.the serial #11376
