nice job with the fog light surrounds....for some reason no one in the US uses them...it took me 2 months to get them from the UK when I first got my Mini....buuuut it was well worth the wait...also what kinda wheels are those they are NIIICE....they look similar to the ones a friend of mine had but his were like 15 or 16 and those look bigger

Nice! Love the Bimmer, too! That's quite a cool little fleet you have, hamann!

I would love to see more pics of the MINI with the 2002. The visual time warp is stunning. It's extraordinary to me how tiny the 2002 looks compared to the MINI. But that has been the trend of the industry and styling. Not that the MINI is a big car, but it has overscale elements (such as the headlights) to make it appear more compact than it is (Boxster does the same thing). The 2002 was styled at a time when surface features attempted to make a car appear sleek. I recall the horizontal feature strip was supposedly based on the William Mitchell-designed first series Corvair. That 2002 was a great car. A friend sold her long-serving 2002TII when she got her MINI.

Nice pics, I have a '76 2002, just spent the second half of the summer overhauling the motor, beefing up the suspension, and putting in a new Metric Mechanics Getrag 232!
