SS lines recommendation...

I would do the search, but I am at work and need some quick opinions. What is a better SS line? What are the differences? In short, which one should I order?

Not to be impatient, but I'd like to order these tonight. Anyone has any advice?

Some people have found generic cheap SS brakelines vs the durable Goodridge SS brakelines.

$119 a set of four, note different sets for model years

$119.95 a set of four

So, for $8 more, is Goodridge better, or about the same?

Most of these hoses are the same. The differences between the companies is that some suggest a thicker wall of teflon, others a more fine braid of ss.

I've heard pros and cons on all the brands over the years.

My only suggestions are:

1. Fittings are spec for the car and do not use adapter fittings. Adapters ARE fine to use but offer another point of leakage. (also are non DOT compliant in this manner if anyone cares)
2. See if you can spec SS fittings on the hose ends. Nice for the life of the hose but bumps the cost up over the more common zinc finish.
3. See if it has a center support with it so you don't zip tie it in place.

So do the Goodridge SS from Tirerack meet the criterea?

FYI, helix13.com has the Goodridge SS lines for $119 (read the description they are not generic - they are Goodridge)
That $8 you don't have to spend.
