Well, maybe hate is too strong a word. The certainly lack the crisp turn-in of the Hoosiers. They seem to demand a counter-intuative driving style. If you start to back off when you feel them slipping you'll be slow. If you push them beyond the point where it feels like you're starting to over-drive them they grip better. Confusing :impatient !
Didn't help that the event where I drove them at had basicly one sweeper and 5 slaloms. Never did get the hang of having to turn in sooner.

I've got a friend who switched from Hoosiers to 710's on his GS Neon. After two events he is getting rid of the Kumhos and going back to Hoosiers. Of course on his GS Neon he can legally get -2.5° or more negative camber in front and can get his tires to wear evenly.
When I was still racing my Neon I was on Hoosiers, and just had my first autocross in my HS MC a couple of weeks ago, and was on 710's for the first time. They will take some getting used to, but until my tire budget increases (so I can replace Hoosiers 2x-3x more often than the Kumhos), I'll just have to learn to adjust to the Kumhos.
