MTH for Cooper (non S) question

I searched and read most of the really really long MTH threads, but I haven't seen this being answered (or I skipped over it)

Those of you who have MTH for the normal Cooper, does it make the car rev down faster? The thing I don't like about my Cooper is when I'm shifting 1-2, or 2-3, when I clutch in, the engine takes way too long to rev down, and I've heard that its the engine management software that holds the rev higher to reduce emissions.

Also, anyone dynoed their Cooper with MTH on?

I believe if you ask Franz he will do something to remove the 'throttle hold.' Check with him/Volker.

Yeah, it can be removed on request. I've sent my factory files to Volker. When I get the tuner file back, I'll get it dyno'd (August 2003 Cooper, non-S).
