MrsDiff and I have decided our specs. We are down to three color coices. Chili Red / Black, Hyper Blue / Black, or Space Blue / Silver. I don't have a sunroof to hide so Silver could also be an option on Clili Red and Hyper Blue. Metalic paint will just barely keep the car under $20K, $19,900 if we stick with Chili Red, that drops price down to $19,400.

How many Chili Red Coopers does NAM have?

How many Hyper Blue?

I know that the 2006's aren't here yet so there shouldn't be a Space Blue.

Congrats on your decision to get a MINI!

Can't help you with the color choice, though... I know better than to wade in those waters!

 

The Decision was made back in 2004 when I first saw one at the Indy Auto Show. Waitied untill timing was right (paid off our current ride ).

 

Personally, I'm going to order a Hyper Blue. I'm less than impressed with Space Blue. To me it seems like a slight shade of grey which seems to be Mini's favorite color for '06 since there are so many shades of it. Now to be fair all the colors look great on the Mini, I'm just slightly disappointed by the lack of color variety and selection. My only problem now in choice is the White roof or the Silver roof. I want to see the silver in person before deciding.

I also want to see the silver roof in person. Specifically on the Chili Red, and Space Blue. It also might look good on the Astro Black

 

I love my Hyper Blue/Black MCS

For awhile, mine was the only one I ever saw with that color combo, but recently I've noticed another MCS and an MC in my town that are HB/B. The MCS driver will sometimes wave, the MC driver looks at me like I'm a loon

 

Well mudfoot, add another one - we took delivery this week on our HB/B MCS (no rally stripes, though). However, we're down on the far southside of Indy, so you probably won't see us very often.

 

Things may be a changing. MrsDiff is actually talking about selling the Stratus. D&R has one last '05 MC. A CR/W w Bonnet Stripes. Not necessarily my first choice... But what ya gonna do when MIN fever hits the Mrs and she says, "We might get the MIN sooner than expected..."
