I'm looking to upgrade the suspension of my SCCA Solo Street Modified Cooper S. I have been talking with Sam Strano of stranoparts.com. He is a national champion autocrosser and an Evolution driving school instructor. Because of his driving, his parts knowlege and the fact that he drives at least a hundred different cars at the Evo school each year he is considered the suspension guru in this part of the country.

Here's the problem: he is having difficulty advising me on springs/coilovers. His point? If you don't know the spring rates of the stock springs (and the H-sports I'm running, for that matter) it's hard to decide what to change them to.

Anybody know stock and H-sport spring rates?

BTW: Sam is an extremely honest guy. He talked me out of several really expensive things that I don't need.
