Tires for MC Straight

Everybody talks about MCS tires... what about us regular guys? I've got a MC 2003 w/ sport package. My runflats are wearing out and I'd love to get regular tires for a smoother ride with the same or better traction. And I'd like to use my OEM V spoke 16 inch wheels. Any recommends would be appreciated. I have Pirellei winter carving 15's and wheels for the ugly months here in Baltimore. But 9-10 months of the year, I don't need them.
Cheers.
Dave

Tires for MC

If you're running 16s on vspokes, which I believe are 6.5" width, especially if you're running a Cooper and can mount a spare, then you might want to consider replacement of runflats with the new Toyos available in 195/55/16 - i.e. same size as your runflats. You should improve the ride and handling, while keeping the same overall tire circumfrence, etc. If you search this forum there was a post a short time ago about these tires. Far as I know, only non rf in this size.

I just replaced my 175/65/15's with 205/50/15's .. . . . couldnt love them more .

I only have one set of wheels so i went with Khumo ASX's . . . they're suppose to be a decend all season tire . . i live in DE about an hour from Balt . . We'll see how these hold up for the winter...

Anywho . . my Advice would be to go wider

205/50/16 is a great size choice!
