They seem to really like those tail light (and front light) guards. I'm not too familiar w/ these...is there a reason?

Wow, a pink MINI. Could it be a Mary K car?

Yeah... what's the deal with the light guards? Are people notorious for bumping into eachother over there?

to protect the bumpers and lights. from what i saw, they park VERY close and drive like crazy people... or at least when i was there they were.

That makes sense. I figured it was for practical reasons but wasn't sure what driving culture was like there.

Great shots! I get a kick out of the tail light guards; at they're being used on vehicles that drive in more tail light dangerous areas that the big, fat *** SUVs here in the States with all of the brush guards on them. Do soccer moms really go offroading? I think not.

Love the cabrio.
Thanks to both of you for sharing the pictures. I like the 'light guards', not sure I would have them on my Mini, but they are unique. Then again, over there, they might be a 'requirement'.
