Looks like they're using Genuine MINI Photographers, too.

Is that an "official" photo? IE, did Saleen pay you for it? (Just curious).



P.S. It is the turn signal/parking light combo we're talking about, right?

Yes they took the Aero Grill and an MCS's engine

I checked on Google and the turn signals are the only thing I see as a direct copy. More like the same part.

The exhaust is in the center like the MCS but I never felt like that was a copy of the MINI. The same way with some cars having a speedo in the center of the dash. Those are just design things where as the above turn signals look like they were ordered from the same company the MINI gets theirs from. Anyone willing to run by a Ford dealership and take a look?

So if I have a "certain" shorty antenna does that mean I'm driving a counterfeit S2000?

I wish. Actually I just snapped that photo when I saw the car already parked in a parking lot.
