Hello all.

My wife and I are planning on moving from CT to the Winston-Salem area at the end of this year or early next year, as my company has merged with a larger firm located there.

Not sure exactly where we will want to live yet, as it will depend on where my wife finds work. Once we determine that, we will try to move half way in between her job and mind. She may end up finding work in W-S, or could be Greensboro, or anywhere else for that matter.

Any suggestions on great places to live in or around the W-S area? We have friends who just moved to W-S, and we have spend some time with them looking around at neighborhoods, so we are just starting to get familiar with the area. Any ideas are welcome.

Looking forward to meeting up with some of you at MINI events once we get settled down there!

I am sure you will enjoy moving to the Carolinas. This is a great place to live. I have been here for 10 years now after living most of my life in the Washington D.C. area. You will love the lower housing costs here in the south.
