Just got my VIN number for my ordered Mini and noticed "WRC" is in the VIN anybody think this is a Mini hint at 2007 participation in World Rally Championship? Maybe Colin will come out of forced retirement to drive a Mini!

Anybody else Scheduled for Production? I am wondering who will be on the ship with me. Dealer said Maximus will be here at the end of August / begining of September

 

I too just got my VIN. My MINI started production on Tuesday at 5:56am. Estimated completion date is August 4. We could possible be ship mates.

 

According to ASK-MINI, I am "scheduled for production" but no build date yet (or VIN obviously). I'm hoping for next week? My dealer told me it would probably be here in early September as well...

 

I just went into "In Production" today! Estimated completion date is 8/5/2005. Laurie and I might be ship/truck-mates since we bought from the same dealer.

Call Ask MINI (866-ASK-MINI) as they have a more up-to-date status. MINIUSA.com still shows mine as "On Order" even though it started production last night. I'll have to check my VIN as well once I get it .

 

Maximus is scheduled to be done Monday! Poor little guy is going to have to wait for his ship. I have contacted the US Navy to see about getting an escort for the trip!

 

I just got my VIN yesterday morning! There was no "WRC" in mine . She'll be done next Friday. Can't wait to meet her!

 

That must mean you have ordered a straight Cooper. The W is the last of the WMW manufacturers code and the RC is the first of the model code RC3(x)
