I ordered Scosche parts BW01 (wiring harness) and VWA (antenna adaptor) after contacting Scosche to confirm that these parts would fit my 2002 MINI Cooper.

I now have my dash apart and the parts DO NOT fit!

 

whoops, I can hear the soldering station coming out of the fieldbox as I type...

 

If I can find the right antenna adaptor locally then yup, I'll cut off the factory harness. If not, then I will order the ones from logjamelectronics.com and wait for them to arrive... I believe they are confirmed to work.

 

the wiring harness for the MINI is the same as the new VW harness. The antenna adapter is also the same as newer VW.

 

well if you had asked first we would've told you which adaptor to get :smile:

sorry about the bad luck, i hate pulling everything out to realize it won;t work!
