All it contains is 4 denso IK22 plugs, a 15% pulley, belt and the Shark Injector. The pulley, belt and plugs are like $150 if you get them elsewhere. THe Shark injector is like $399. I highly doubt it could do anywhere near what they claim. Probably only 15hp at the wheels for a very high max.

Easiest way is to get the pulley & plugs, get an intake (Alta or M7 AGS), get an exhaust and a UniChip/GIAC ECU. That should take care of most of it. THen you can go with a header, crank pulley and the like after that

Dont forget about MTH for the ecu upgrade... Also, if an easier upgrade (for similar costs) to the head or cam would be to get a larger intercooler. It is a much safer mod as well...

The thing is that looks quite attractive for only 600 bucks. Thats around my prce range now. What is realistic?

The mod path for the cheap bastard like me!

Hot air intake (K&N directly on TB) $60
One Ball Exhaust $90
MTH ECU mod ~$70 for licence, ~$100 for cable...
VGS and reworked by-pass valve. (~$2)
Pully (~$100)
Pully labor (if you don't want to do it) (~$300)
Plugs (NKG Iridium if your cheap, Densos if you're not!) ~$30

that should get you started.... Each is a bit of a compramise (except for the pully), but in value/dollar, can't be beat! And you can upgrade each as you want as well, CAI for HAI, heck, even AGS Pro! One-Ball to Cat-Back (and a big hole in your wallet!). MTH to UniChip (heck, keep the MTH on for the DSC mods!) you get the idea. But if you save a bunch on power parts, you can spend that on handling!

on the "lighter" side

Live on the edge:

Tow free mods sure to free up some hp/tq, and at the same time save weight and eliminate any hope of future warranty work:

1. NO intake, i.e. open TB. Just hope that road debris isn't floating around in your engine compartment any time your foot's even barely on the gas.

2. NO exhaust. Louder? Yes. But hey, motorcycles are loud and no one seems to give a hoot about them!

OK, so not really practical. An option for those even cheaper than the Dr. and this Dr.
