Those of you who followed your MINI from the docks to the USA, and were on the W&W ships, how many MINI's were on a ship? 100? Also, did all the VIN's drop out of the system, then slowly add to the freight listing???

There was about 150 MINIs on the ship mine shipped on. I'm not sure what you mean by "slowly add to the freight listing???" But cars were added to the ship over 4-5 days. Then it said the expected date the ship was to be in port.

 

Some of these car specific transport vessels can carry up to 1800 cars at a time, but how many of those are MINI Coopers is only a guess. My VIN never showed up, I just tracked it by Vessel (Maersk Teal in my case) but my MCS was faster than the updates on the website.

In addition to MINIs, there are also typically VWs, Volvos, BMWs and other European built cars onboard these ships...
