M2C2 has been invited to participate in the AutoFair car show at Lowe's Motor Speedway on Saturday September, 17th from 8:00am until 6:00pm.

We have been given space for 20 MINIs to be displayed. The AutoFair will be awarding 4 trophies to the MINIs in our club.

If you have never been to the AutoFair you are in for a treat. More than 150,000 people attend this event over a 3 day period. Please check this link for more information.

This is an honor for our club to be invited to attend this event. We need to fill all 20 spaces. You must be a club member to participate and post here to be added to the list.

As a member of the Speedway Club at Lowe's Motor Speedway I am able to arrange for us to also stay after the car show and have dinner in the Speedway Club. If you would be interested in staying for dinner please let me know. Here is a link to the Speedway Club.

Do you think it would be ok to have a "stock" MINI there?

...although I may have some minor mods by then.

My daughter and I went to AutoFair there 2 years ago, (just to look) it was a lot of fun.

Sure it would be great to have your MINI there. It is hard to find any 2 MINIs alike. People always love to see all of the different color combinations that our MINIs come in.

It just occurred to me to ask how much is the entry fee and what are the 4 catagories our cars will be judged in?

The good news is there is no entry fee. That is why is is so nice that M2C2 was invited to participate in the AutoFair. They are even paying for the trophies.

The trophies will be for our 20 MINIs with 1st ,2nd 3rd and 4th place. At this time I am not sure how the voting will work (I think only Dark Silver MINIs can win, just kidding). They may leave it up to the club. I will try and get an answer. The trophies will have the club name and AutoFair Sept 2005 as well as the place finish.

I miss my MINI sooooo much. As for the new one, the color will be a secret until the unveiling at my MINI delivery party. :smile: And of course, your all invited. More details to come.

Count us in for at least one spot. I'd ask for two, but to be fair we should wait to see if any other M2C2's need the spot.
So, if there is still one available at the "cut-off" date , I'll bring our 2nd MINI.
