Aero Kit Part

I asked about this in one of the other forums, and no one replied or commented (weird for NAM indeed!) so I thought to ask here in the general forum...

Anyone have a Euro license plate carrier for an Aero Kit (mounted or unmounted)? I know they are available in Europe (Doh!) but they appear to be un-findable here in the States.

Thanks RWC, got a few of those and used one on my current MCS. I'm seeking the actual MINI part for the new MCSDT on it's way.

I'm looking for the Euro Plate carrier that comes with an Aero Kit sold in Europe. This is different than the standard front plate carrier for MINIs without Aero Kits

If you get an Aero Kit here in the States, it comes with a US front plate carrier for those states where you are required to display one (sorry for y'all ).

Amazingly, no one has identified this item yet! Gotta beleive there are folks out there that have one or have information on the MINI part.

While you're tracking parts for the aero kit, don't forget to request part number 51 12 0 152 925, this is the rear bracket that goes in the middle of the bumper. It prevents a lot of flex in the bumper, and a surprising number of dealers don't put this on by default.

I don't have the part number for the euro plate holder for the aero kit, sorry.

Thanks for that... I'll validate on this new delivery. My current 2004 MCS has shown no tendency to flex in the rear bumber area, fortunately!

'preciate it

No problem. I ordered my '05 MCS with aero kit at the same time my parents ordered one of their own in another state. Their dealer did not fit the bracket (remedied soon) and in a side by side comparison, their bumper flexes a LOT, while mine barely moves. I specifically asked for that bracket before delivery, which the dealer claimed they always fit. So, looks like its dealer dependent.

Thanks. I'll watch for this in particular.

No one out here has... or has seen... A euro plate for the Aero Kit?

If you happen to talk with the owner, please ask him/her where they sourced it?

Thanks!

I'm Tuls Friend!

We had a friend over on mini2.com purchase the product and ship it over to us.

If your not familiar with mini2, it's another mini board just like NAM except it's mostly Euro or overseas members.

It was not very expensive like 30 bucks i think. We traded the mini in with the bracket so I cannot get the part number for you

Let me know if you have any questions or need pictures

Thanks yah, I'm familiar. If that's the only path, then I may take it. I had hopes of identifying the part sufficiently for the dealer to order here. Thanks for the reply

Love the sig!
