Mini 5000

Just hit 5000 miles! Love the car. Time to get the oil changed.

For the owners out there: If you could get another new one, what options would you get?

Well at present...thanks to people who shall remain unnamed...my MINI dreams are of the top-down variety. Cooper cabrio....heated seats to fully exploit mild Texas winters. Oh yeah!!!

When I pulled into my garage on Friday evening, coming home from work, just before I turned off the engine, I looked down and I had serendipitously hit 10,000 mi even. It was an emotional moment. It's been a great time, but I felt like I was watching my kid grow up before my eyes.

I look forward to many more miles of enjoyment. Despite the rattles and some shoddy dealership work, it has been heaven!

Tomorrow marks the third anniversary of the delivery of my MCS...I would purchase another one exactly like the the one I have.

Well...perhaps a NAV system, as much JCW that I can justify purchasing and maybe, just maybe...some stripes this time.

Here is a silly question.

How did you get the time displayed next to the mileage?

I can't think of anything I would change.

Nope. Nothing.

Hehheh, another Pepper White front-shot signature

I've hardly had my MINI for 24 hours and you want me to start second guessing it?!

Heh just teasing, but seriously, I've got what I want, and what I want to add, factory doesn't have.
