R50/53 Help! Rain stained my cloth seats!
Help! Rain stained my cloth seats!
What the hell man.
I had my windows down today cause here in the deep south its as hot as *insert metaphor here*. Thunderstorm popped up and gave my interior a decent bath before I was able to get the windows shut.
Sun came out later, windows went back down so everything could dry. Now there's a water mark stained into the seat.
Why did this happen, its just water? And how can I get it out?
Appreciate any help.
Matt

It may be as simple as getting the entire area with the stain wet (well, damp), and letting it dry together. Try rubbing with a damp towel. Get the whole area with the stain uniformly damp, but not wet. Then let it dry.
If the stain is still there, you could try a good upholstry or carpet shampo. I was able to get grease spots out of my space cloth with carpet cleaner.
Good luck.

Water stained seats.
Airline stewards use club soda, it works. Get a bottle
of club soda, saturate the stained panel only from
stiched seam to seam and place a clean white towel
over the spot to dry. It works. Done it several times
( kids and food) and it's cheap.
