i saw this car last time i was at the dealer... and the time before that, too... as far as i remember it's been around at least six months... and it's really not that good looking. i HATE the all silver with those black rims. blech. i was talking to chris the parts guy and apparently it is/was the manager's cooper. too bad he/she has such bad taste!
I emailed the guy and asked how they can sell the car as new with 4k miles. I never got a response but with 4k miles doesn't it have to be sold as a demo?
I've seen this car in person. The service manager for Prestige drove it at MOT '05. He was always ready to pull out the spec sheet whenever anyone asked about how much it cost. Apparently, it's the owner's (or his son's) car. I get the feeling they are in no hurry to sell it.
In blatant self-promotion, I'd suggest that my '04 MCS has far more 'value for the dollar'
... and it includes the Nav system
... and the latest Navteq map disc

Some states don't have a "demo" requirement anymore. If the car has never been titled it can still be sold as new even if it has excessive mileage. Buyer beware and all.
