You'd think for $48K you'd get the Nav.

Let me think...

mini, elise, vette.... mini, elise, vette...

Hard choice, but certainly not because of the mini.

Notice it has no bids...hmmm I wonder why. I think this car has been for sale for a while and I am pretty sure I have seen it on ebay before.

In my opinion it doesnt even look good. The black wheels and everything else being so light is too much of a contrast, not a sexy look in my opinion.

If tis belongs to someone here please dont be offened by my opinion because that is all it is, my opinion.

i saw this car last time i was at the dealer... and the time before that, too... as far as i remember it's been around at least six months... and it's really not that good looking. i HATE the all silver with those black rims. blech. i was talking to chris the parts guy and apparently it is/was the manager's cooper. too bad he/she has such bad taste!

Ditto. It will be hard to sell because of this. And why they didn't install the OEM rally lights?

I emailed the guy and asked how they can sell the car as new with 4k miles. I never got a response but with 4k miles doesn't it have to be sold as a demo?

Well, I doubt that even with one born every minute, we'll see a sucker large enough to ****** up that bargain.

Only in America.

I've seen this car in person. The service manager for Prestige drove it at MOT '05. He was always ready to pull out the spec sheet whenever anyone asked about how much it cost. Apparently, it's the owner's (or his son's) car. I get the feeling they are in no hurry to sell it.

I belive it!

Choke all you want but that's the price they go for over here in the UK all the time with even more miles on the odometer

Someone will buy it and think they got a bargain.

Agreed! This is bloody ridiculous.

In blatant self-promotion, I'd suggest that my '04 MCS has far more 'value for the dollar'
... and it includes the Nav system
... and the latest Navteq map disc
[for those who may have followed another thread here recently]

MINISteve
'04 Pepper White MCS 17K miles all packages, Nav, Aero, R90s.. the works (just not John Coopers)

Some states don't have a "demo" requirement anymore. If the car has never been titled it can still be sold as new even if it has excessive mileage. Buyer beware and all.

$96 for $40 spark plug wires???

If you configure it online, its about $40K PLUS add all those MINI installation charges.
