Hello to all Minian's of MCO!

Can anyone tell me where or if there are Wide Flare/Body kits for the Mini?
I am soon to order my Mini "S" and during the wait I will buy all the performance goodies I can.

Oh! Is there an after market cam for the "S"?

I did see one company that was selling wide fender flares. It was a british site that I can not find now.. can't remember the name, but I saw this maybe as long as six months ago. The flares were attatched with exposed fasteners, as some of the old ralley Mini Flares were. they looked cool. I'll keep looking for the site, as I've been thining about this too.

Oh my God no! That is just to much. I don't want to add that much weight unless
it really looks good, and that one doesn't do anything for me.
Thanks for the effort though.

MOSS has a XENON for around $1300?

ALSO, Why would MINIMANIA put WIDER wheels on the rear if its a front wheel drive????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????

Also, remember one of the key features of the original mini's ability to remain stuck to the pavement was that it utilized it's thin tires....coupled with it's low center of gravity.

Umm wider tires would make the car wider, thus making the center of gravity fall more centrally and possibly lower. Also wider wheels and tires increase the contact patch that the MC/MCS is touching the road, with making the car wider you make the vehicle more stable.

Why wider rear tires? because the wide body will now fit them. again a wider stance means more contact and lower CG.

P.S. Yes, those wheels are 5-lug. They were for show only, as the 4-lug versions weren't ready for the show.

This car looks awesome...aside from the braces that it wears on its front bumper. Does anybody know what they did to the inside of the headlights? This might look good on my dark silver/black MCS. Mini Mania sells that wide fender kit now by the way. Does anyone know what size wheels this thing has???

I love every bit of that kit. Just the right width to add, just the right color and graphics, and more over i love the added front bumber pieces! Brings back the older british styling.

Does anyone have a closeup of that gas cap? I've never seen it before. I dig the chrome side grilles. Wish someone made them cuz I want a pair!

Hey Guys! I found the Flare kit I want. Mini Mania is selling the Breyton Flare kit for less that $600.oo. It is the only kit out there that fit me, Bold, but conservative.
I would like to make a statement with out being to loud.
BTW- I drove a friends Mini w/ an LSD. What a difference, that is a must!

Check out the Moss Mini Catalog... They've got three different styles of the chrome side grills. One with the "S" and two w/o.
Here's link to their site: Moss Mini

Moss also has a similar gas-cap, though not identical.

Not sure about that gas cap, but I have seen the flares from Mini mania, and they are definitely the closest-to-factory looking you can get, and would look great painted. As for the widebody kit on Minimania, all I can say is, whoever designed that did a good job making a pretty car ugly. I mean would anyone agree with me if I said it looks like a retarded and shrunken new VW Bug on steroids?? Granted, that kit will turn the heads of fellow mini owners, but it will likely cause onlookers to shake their heads as well.
