I just wanted everyone know about the club adopting a highway.
From September 1, 2005 thru September 1, 2009 we as a club have adopted a 2 mile section of highway 67 in Forsyth County. I think this is a great opportunity for us to do something for our roads that we MOTOR on. I hope our club members will come out in force to volunteer on our clean up days. It's not a big commitment, only once every four months. I will announce all dates at least a month in advance I hope. All equipment will be provided free of charge.
If there are any questions or answers I can provide please ask.

The signs were posted this week! I need to order the supplies this week and then we can schedule a day to make it beautiful! The great thing is, its mostly residential and well maintained.

Are you guys going to station somebody at the start of your adopted highway and welcome them on your road? Maybe thank them for driving on it?
(I used to have an instructor who wanted to do this)Or are you going to do the Kramer thing and repaint the lines so that the road is roomier and more spacious?
