It's getting to me! + licence plate query~

Though my delivery date is not set yet, I'll be taking delivery in less than two weeks. My hairs are contantly standing on end and only one word runs through my mind; MOTORING. I have a pack of MINI logo valve stem caps in my pocket at all times. I find myself spending more time on MINI sites and info than on the Red Sox and baseball (that's saying something).

The worst part is I don't want it to stop!

Doogie: My name's John and I'm a motor-holic.

Little Girl: John, this is a girl scout meeting.

Doogie: Is it? Or is it you ladies can't admit you have a problem?
(Yes that's a ripoff of a Simpson quote)

Okay now onto the biggest decision wieghing on my mind right now, vanity plates!

The three I've been thinking of are as follows:

121SCAL: one to one scale ~ A nice little reference to a nice little car. Specifically to model scale ratios.

HEY+HEY: hey hey ~ How I greet people, instead of the usual hello or whatever. I say "Hey hey!"

ACTULSZ: Another nice little reference to a nice little car.

Hey-Hey is Krusty the clowns trademark greeting. It might be taken to mean you think of your MINI as a clown car. Why not Mr. Burns greeting of "Ahoy-hoy" which is the greeting that Alexander Graham Bell initially proposed when he invented the telephone. The more popular "Hello" was later coined by Thomas Edison. Not that I'm a Simpsons trivia nut or anything.

another thought

I think those are all good options.

I don't know what the story is behind Dr. Doogie MD, but why not
DOOGIE for a vanity plate?

I dig the DOOGIE plate idea, too! But they're all good, John!

That is so cute that you have the MINI logo valve stem caps in your pocket at all times! To me, that is normal behavior for a MINI enthusiast! BTW, how many MINI toys have you collected so far, and how many accessories have you purchased, pre-delivery?

Good point about hey hey, I don't want to do anything to demean the vehicle.
Doogie is an older nickname I've had. I picked it up when I worked at the Jack In The Box distribution center in Phoenix, AZ. I started there when I was just 18. Everyone else there was at least twice my age. I also was going to school at the time for a career in the medical field (stalled, but resumed now), and was quite intelligent compared to most of my colleagues. So, young, smart, and into medicine, the nickname of doogie was quickly attached to me. I loved it and have been using it ever since.

It's definitely a good idea though, especially since most of the MINI community will know me through my screen name.
